The Rancho Santa Fe School District board held its annual organizational meeting Dec. 11, displaced to the library because of the magical land of Oz taking over the performing arts center for the school play.
At the meeting, Superintendent Lindy Delaney swore in returning board members Todd Frank and Marti Ritto, and the board elected new officers for the 2014-15 year. Frank was elected president, Tyler Seltzer was elected vice president and Ritto was elected board clerk.
Also at the meeting, the board approved next year’s meeting schedule, which will include several 9 a.m. meetings to allow more members of the public to attend. Meetings will be held at 5 p.m. every first Thursday except for 9 a.m. sessions on Feb. 5, April 2, July 2, Sept. 3 and Nov. 5. The three exceptions to the first Thursday meeting schedule are Jan. 8, Aug. 20 and Dec. 10 meetings in 2015.
